This Privacy Policy explains how Southern California Towing LLC ("SoCal Towing," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit socaltow.net (the "Site") or contact us through it.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit our fleet account form or email us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, company name, phone number, email address and any message you include.
Phone calls and texts. If you call or text us, we receive your phone number and any information you share so that we can provide service.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the Site running. We do not currently use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Third-party services
Some links on the Site take you to services operated by third parties, including our dispatch provider Towbook (online service requests and vehicle lookup) and Google (reviews and maps). Information you enter on those services is collected by them and governed by their own privacy policies, as well as used by us to provide the service you requested.
How we use information
- To respond to your requests and provide towing and roadside services
- To set up and manage fleet and commercial accounts, including billing
- To communicate with you about your service or account
- To keep the Site secure and working properly
- To comply with legal obligations
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to provide our services (for example, with service providers that host the Site, deliver form submissions or handle dispatch), with your motor club, insurer or other roadside provider when they request service on your behalf, or when required by law.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to review, correct or delete personal information you've submitted through the Site by emailing socaltowingllc@gmail.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time, subject to any records we're legally required to keep.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is no common standard for these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. We do not track you across other websites.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
