Which form do I need?

  • You're the registered owner: bring your valid photo ID and current registration. The vehicle release form is optional but makes pickup faster.
  • Someone is picking up for the owner: the registered owner signs the notarized release authorization in front of a notary. The person picking up brings the original notarized form and their own valid photo ID.
  • Bank, lender, leasing company or repossession agent: no notarized documents are needed. Call ahead and we'll tell you what to bring.
  • Insurance company or auction transport: call ahead or email us your company's release authorization.
  • Law enforcement hold: you may need a release from the agency that stored the vehicle before we can release it.

Tips

  • Print the form and fill it out completely. Incomplete forms may delay your release.
  • Most banks, UPS Store locations and mobile notaries can notarize the authorization form.
  • Bring the original notarized form. Photos or copies may not be accepted.
  • Personal belongings can be picked up during normal business hours at no charge.
